No, our assessment process is designed to integrate with your working schedule. All observations and discussions take place at your workplace during normal working hours. Our assessors will arrange visits at times that suit you and cause minimal disruption to your responsibilities. The evidence collection process is built around your existing work activities rather than requiring additional projects.

You'll need to provide evidence of your strategic management capabilities, including project documentation, business plans, financial reports, meeting minutes, and examples of your leadership approach. We'll help you identify suitable evidence from your existing work, which might include strategic planning documents, board reports, financial analyses, staff development plans, and records of your decision-making processes.

You should have at least 2 years of experience in a senior construction management role with strategic responsibilities. This typically includes experience in corporate-level decision making, managing multiple projects or departments, financial oversight, and strategic planning. Your role should involve significant leadership responsibilities and influence over organisational direction.

Level 7 is equivalent to a Master's degree, while Level 6 is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Level 7 focuses on strategic leadership at the highest organisational levels, including corporate governance, organisational strategy, and executive decision-making. Level 6 centers more on operational management and project delivery. Level 7 qualifies you for a Black CSCS card, while Level 6 typically leads to a Gold card.

Yes, CITB levy payers may be eligible for funding up to £1,500 to support their NVQ Level 7 assessment costs.
